To turn power off, return the [PWR/BRT] control to the OFF position.
Adjusting brightness ([PWR/BRT] control)
Use the [PWR/BRT] control to adjust brightness.

3. OPERATIONS
3.1 Basic Operations
Schools of fish
Fishfinding video display mode
The ultrasonic signals that have been emitted from the transducer at the bottom of the vessel reflect from the
underwater plankton, schools of fish, and bottom, and are then received by the transducer. The underwater
reflection level of these ultrasonic waves is displayed at a color tone level (from light blue to reddish brown) in the
fishfinding display mode.
Reflections from a small school of fish are weak and displayed in "light blue", and reflections from a large and
densely populated school of fish are strong and displayed in "orange". Reflections from the bottom are the
strongest and they are displayed in "red or reddish brown".
The fishfinding display mode can be changed to either a standard display mode (STD.), a partial expand display
mode (ZOOM), a sea bottom expand display mode (BTM. EXP.), or a mixed display mode (MIXED). The A-scope
for identifying the reflection level of the ultrasonic waves from schools of fish by a color tone and width can be
displayed in each display mode, except for mixed display.
Water temperature is displayed
at the central top of the monitor.
However, no such display is
made when an optional water

Key operations during power-on disturb the settings of the hardware
configuration parameters and may thus cause trouble.
