Configuring the MCC Console JPS Bridge Channel(s) on the Z2C
The MCC-4 and MCC-1 Consoles are represented by Bridge channels on the Z2C. Therefore,
for each channel on the console you want to use, create a corresponding Bridge channel for it on
the Z2C. Instructions for creating Bridge channels can be found in this Manual in Section 5.1

Configuring the MCC Console to Connect to the Z2C
To configure your MCC-4 or MCC-1 Console to connect to the Z2C, refer to the Console

5.5
Recorder Channel Configuration Settings
In addition to
Local
and
Remote Resources
,
the Z2C features IP recorder integration for up to
eight (8) recording channels. These additional channels can be set up to record any
communications net, including the
Dispatch
area. Although non-evidentiary at this time, the
recording feature allows you to save, consult, and confirm audio recordings as necessary,
providing you with a valuable record of communications.
The first step to recording is to enable the Recorder channels in the
Preferences
tab under
Settings
. Select
Enabled
Yes
and the
Number of Recorders
(up to 8).

Once the Recorder Channels are enabled, select the
Channel
tab under
Settings
. Recorder
channels display on a row beneath other configured channels.
