8. MAINTENANCE
Before removing the cover disconnect the equipment from the
mains.
The control elements and heating elements must only be
manipulated by authorized personnel.
The distilled or demineralized water has a great tendancy to rust. To
prolong the life of the bath and avoid rusting of the parts, dissolve
1 gr of CO
3
Na
2
(Sodium Carbonate) per litre of water used in the
bath.
CLEANING:
If normal tapwater is used calcareous deposits will appear in the bath and
in the heating element. A heater covered with lime should not be used as it
can lose heating power and deteriorate more quickly. Periodical cleaning
of the inside of the tank and the heating element with a solution of 10%
of 28% Chlorhydric acid or a solution of water and vinegar (Acetic acid)
is advised. Rinse with clean water afterwards.
For the cleaning of the different parts use the following products:
Cleaning of stainless steel: Alcohol
Cleaning of plastic: Alcohol with cotton duster.
6. Select the working temperature by using the temperature selection
keys (4) & (5) (minimum at 3ºC below the desired safety tempe-
rature).
7. Turn the equipment on again with key (7). Once the temperature is
stabilized, the machine is ready to work.
NOTE: Safety thermostat is especially useful when the user works
habitually at the same temperature.
9. ERROR MESSAGES
P.FAIL Power failure. The bath continues with the process.
Err
will appear in green on the top line of the display.
SAFE /
TSEG
The safety thermostat is open.
(press button 9 to reset it)
SENS
Open temperature probe. The control does not detect the
temperature probe. Probe connection fails.
(check probe connections or replace it)
HEAT
The resistance does not work. The equipment detects that
the temperature does not increase.
(check the resistance function. If necessary, replace it)
