7.2 WORKING MODE OF THE BATH
STARTING UP
1. Press the start switch (1) and the screen (2) will light up at the
same time.
2. Press keys (5 or 6) until you select the desired temperature value
in the green display (the upper one).
3. Press key (4) if you want to select an operating time. Select time
with keys (5 or 6).
4. Press key (7) to start the cycle.
5. The heating symbol will light and blink.
6. Press the key (7) again to stop the process. Note: during operation,
the temperature or time adjustment value can be changed.
COMMENTS:
* Do not program the equipment at lower temperatures than ambient
+5ºC, because the thermostat might have difficulties in regulating
correctly.
* When using the time function, the green display (the upper one)
will indicate the remaining time. If you want to see the target tem-
perature value, press key (4).
* Place the load in the equipment trying to leave spaces for the air
circulation. Do not load the incubator more than 70% of its useful
chamber volume.
* The device detects if the power fails. If, when the equipment’s use
has ended, the process is not stopped by pressing key (7),
P.FAIL
message can be avoided when the device is restarted.
ADJUSTING THE SAFETY THERMOSTAT:
From the factory, the thermostat is adjusted to its maximum tempera-
ture. To adjust the safety thermostat temperature, do as follows:
1. With the equipment connected to the mains, turn the safety ther-
mostat screw (8) clockwise to the end of the scale, with the help
of a flat screwdriver.
2. Select the desired safety temperature using the control keys.
This temperature has to be minimum at 3ºC above the working
temperature.
3. Turn on the equipment with key (7).
4. When the equipment is stabilized at the above selected tempe-
rature, turn the safety thermostat screw (8) slowly to the left until
it clicks, and the red indicator lamp lights up.
5. Stop the equipment and leave it to cool with the lid open during
15 minutes.
