8.0 Troubleshooting
Poor draught
Check the length of the chimney so that it meets the
requirements of national laws and regulations. (See also
sections
"2.0 Technical data"
and
"5.0 Daily use"
(Chimney
and
fl
ue).
Check that min. The cross section of the chimney is in
accordance with what is described in
«2.0 Technical data»
in
the installation manual. Make sure that there is nothing to
prevent the
fl
ue gases from escaping: Branches, trees etc.
If there is a suspicion of excessive / poor draft in the chimney,
professional help must be sought for measurement and repair.
The
fi
re dies out after a while
• Check that the fuel is dry enough.
• Check if there is negative pressure in the house; close
mechanical fans and open a window near the
fi
replace.
• Check that the air valve is open.
• Make sure that the smoke outlet is not clogged with soot.
If an abnormal amount of soot is formed
on glass
There will always be some soot on the glass, but the amount
will depend on:
• The moisture in the fuel.
• The local draft conditions.
• Adjustment of the air valve.
• Most of the soot coating will normally be burned o
ff
when
the air valve is regulated up to the maximum, and it is
fi
red
fresh in the
fi
replace.

10.1 Recycling of packaging
The

replace is delivered with the following
packaging:
• Wooden pallet that can be cut up and burned in the

replace.
• Packaging in cardboard to be delivered for recycling.
• Plastic bags to be delivered for recycling.
• Plastic vault supports are delivered for recycling.
10.2 Recycling the
fi
replace
The
fi
replace consists of:
• Metal to be delivered for recycling.
• Glass to be handled as special waste. The glass in the
fi
replace must not be placed in normal source sorting.
• Burning plates in verchulite that can be thrown in ordinary
residual waste..
