Motor overload protection

Charging the storage battery

Switch the device oﬀ . The charging process is initiated by plugging the power supply unit into the

charging socket (7.2.1). The green charging indicator light on the power supply unit ﬂ ashes. The

charging process is complete when the light (7.1.5) glows green continuously.

A fault is present if the indicator light ﬂ ashes red. Check the connection or the cable.

It is possible to continue operating the motor handpiece when the power supply unit and the

mains cable are directly connected to the control unit.

The integrated electronics shut down the motor automatically in case of motor overload. The

green motor light goes out. The motor is immediately ready for use again by operating the on/oﬀ

switch (7.1.2).
