MAINTENANCE AND CARE
ATTENTION!
Before proceeding with cleaning and maintenance operations, turn off the applian-
ce and remove the plug from the socket.
Cleaning the casing
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the external surface of the appliance.
Do not use too hot water, solvents, petrol or other aggressive chemical compounds,
talcum powders and brushes: they could damage the surface or the color of the casing.
To remove any stains, use lukewarm water with a little neutral detergent.
Do not pour water on the air conditioner to clean it: this could damage the internal com-
ponents or cause a short circuit
Cleaning the air filters
The air filter must be checked at least
once every two weeks of operation. Ope-
ration with dirty or clogged filters always
causes a decrease in the efficiency of the
device and can cause serious problems.
Grasp the filter handle and gently pull it
out in the correct direction.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. If
this is not enough, wash the filter with
lukewarm water (40 ° C) and possibly neu-
tral detergent, rinse it with cold water and
let it dry naturally before putting it back
in its place. Once the filter has been rein-
serted, resume using the air conditioner.
ATTENTION:
Gently pull out the filter.
Do not crush or hit the net with sharp
objects or brushes.
Do not use the appliance without ha-
ving installed the filter.
storage
When you do not plan to use the device for a long time, before putting it away, clean the
filters and completely drain the condensed water (see manual unloading).
Keep the unit running in fan mode for a few hours to completely dry the inside of the
unit and avoid damage to the appliance.
Turn off the unit, remove the plug, then wrap the power cord and insert the plug into
the universal fixing hole on the rear panel of the unit, install the water plug.
Remove the heat exhaust pipe, clean it and store it properly.
Remove the batteries from the remote control.
Always keep the device in a vertical position. Do not place heavy objects on the top and
possibly protect the device or store it in its original packaging. Store the device in a cool
and dry place.
All the accessories of the unit must be adequately protected together.
Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
TRANSPORT
Transport the device in an upright position if possible.
If this is not possible, lay it on its side; when you arrive at your destination, immediately
put the appliance back in a vertical position and wait at least 2 hours before using it in
