Setting a preloaded application
You can configure the controller to use one of the 10 preloaded applications using the MAP Gateway release 5.1 or later.
See Table 11 for the list of preloaded applications. For the application details, such as the sequence of operation and the
list of points, refer to the
VAV1717 and VAV1732 Application Note (LIT-12013794)
.
Note:
The VAV1717 controllers ship with standard application number 1, cooling only.
The VAV1732 controllers ship with a default state feature for wiring validation, see

Default state for wiring validation
The VAV1732 controllers ship with a default state that
can assist in validating the wiring of the input and output
terminals before the download of an application file.
When the controller is powered on in the default state, the
fault LED flashes in a pattern of two quick blinks and then
a long pause.
To use this feature, set the DIP switches to the correct
address, and wire the input and output terminals. Apply
power to the VAV1732 controller, and connect to the
controller with either a MAP Gateway or MS-DIS1710-0
Local Display to view the points in the controller. The
controller reports an operational status, even though a
blank application is loaded. In default state, the controller
displays an application name that consists of the address
of the controller, followed by the model of the controller
and the phrase
Default State
. For example, a VAV1732
controller whose DIP switches are set to 8 has the default
state application name of
8-VAV1732 Default State
.
In the default state, input and output points appear
for all connections on the input and output terminals.
All universal inputs (UIs) appear as Nickel temperature
sensors. All configurable outputs (COs) appear as binary
outputs (BOs) with an initial value of 0. In the default
state, the device also receives input from a network
sensor at address 199.
