WARRANTY
Johnson Controls, Inc., warrants this
product to be free from defects in
workmanship and materials for two (2)
years from the date of purchase. If the
product does not operate as warranted
during the applicable warranty period, it
will be repaired or replaced by Johnson
Controls, Inc., at no charge to you.
JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC. EXPRESSLY
RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REPAIR OR
REPLACE THIS EQUIPMENT WITH NEW
OR REFURBISHED PARTS OR EQUIP-
MENT.
The original purchaser must notify
Johnson Controls, Inc., in writing if there
is a defect in material or workmanship.
Written notice in all events must be
received by Johnson Controls, Inc. before
expiration of the warranty period.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
This warranty covers normal use.
Johnson Controls, Inc. does not warrant:
-Damage caused by misuse, mishandling,
accident, or acts of God
-Damage caused by the use of this
product for purposes other than those for
which it was designed
-Damage caused by improper installation
-Compatibility with the equipment from
any other manufacturer
-Damage caused by unauthorized
attachments, alterations, or modifications
made to the equipment to make it
compatible with the equipment of any
other manufacturer
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE WARRANTY STATED ABOVE IS
THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE
TO THIS PRODUCT. ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT-
ABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE GIVEN TO
YOU BY LAW ARE HEREBY LIMITED
IN DURABILITY TO THE DURATION
OF THIS WARRANTY. UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES WILL JOHNSON
CONTROLS, INC. BE LIABLE FOR
DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDEN-
TAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THIS
PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow limitation on
how long an implied warranty lasts, so
the above limitation may not apply to
you. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
PURCHASER’S RESPONSIBILITY
In order to obtain service under this
warranty, you must deliver the equipment
to the place of purchase or to JCI and
provide proof of the original purchase
date along with the returned equipment.
Failure to provide adequate proof of the
original purchase date could result in
denial of warranty service.
