!
CAUTION: Risk of Property Damage.
Do not plug or unplug an actuator into a DME
controller with power applied. Making such a
connection or disconnection may result in permanent
damage to the controller or actuator.
IMPORTANT:
Make all wiring connections in
accordance with the National Electrical Code and
local regulations. Use proper Electrostatic Discharge
(ESD) precautions during installation and servicing to
avoid damaging the actuator’s electronic circuits.
The M9206-DNx actuator is supplied with a
factory-wired 5-pin connector that connects to an
AD-DME-100-0 Economizer Controller. To wire the
auxiliary switch on the DNB, refer to Figure 7.

Auxiliary Switch (DNB Models)
The M9206-DNB-3S model has a built-in auxiliary
switch with a switch adjuster accessible on either face
of the actuator. (See Figure 1 and Figure 2.) The
factory setting is 20°. Refer to the
Auxiliary Switch
Rating
in the
Technical Specifications
section.
The switch point is continuously adjustable from
0 to 90°. For the most accurate position of the switch,
refer to Figure 9 and use the method in the following
example.
To change the trip point:
1. Position the actuator in the full spring return
position.
Note:
The switch is factory set to trip when the
actuator reaches the 20° position.
2. Turn the switch adjuster until it points to the
desired switch trip point.
3. Connect the switch to an ohmmeter and apply
power to the actuator through the economizer
controller. Modify the settings so the actuator
passes the point where the switch should trip. If
the point is not in the proper position, turn the
switch adjuster again to optimize the setting.
