Scoop, for INSIGHT Lateral Access
System
To lengthen the blades and to reduce tissue creep, a
blade extension can be used with the accessories instru-
ment (1). The blade extension provides an additional
10 mm in blade length (2).
To reduce lateral tissue creep, winglets can be used.
Each winglet provides an additional 7 mm in blade
width (3).
Screw the accessory fully onto the accessories instru-
ment.
The groove number on the blade corresponds to
numbers
1
/
2
on back of the accessory (4).
Precaution:
Use the scoop with the blade extension
and/or winglet to retract soft tissue. This is to
reduce the risk of soft tissue damage due to com
pression by the blade extension and winglet.
