-This appliance is intended to be used only by adults. Do not allow
people not accustomed to this kind of appliances, handicapped peo-
ple or children to use this item.
-Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the cable
and plug are in perfect conditions. Also check that the voltage indica-
ted on the appliance is valid for your electrical installation.
-If you detect that the power supply cable, the plug or the adaptor are
damaged or have fallen into water or any other liquid, do not use the
appliance, replace the cable, the plug, or the adaptor. Go directly to
the authorised
JOCCA
technical service where they will replace it
correctly for you.
-Do not immerse the appliance or any part of it in water or any other
liquid.
-Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance from the mains, always
pull from the plug.
-If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or any other
liquid do not use it or try to repair it. Take it to the
JOCCA
technical
service.
-Do not move the appliance when it is in use, or touch the hot parts
of the appliance, as this may cause damage and burns.
-Never leave the appliance cable hanging or in contact with hot
parts.
-For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly, always use
JOCCA
spare parts and accessories.
-Please make sure that the pot is not broken or cracked before con-
necting the appliance.
-Please take care: this appliance gives off heat that can cause burns.
-Please make sure that your hands are dry and that you have your
shoes on before connecting the appliance to the mains electricity
supply.
-Never fill the pot above the
MAX
mark.
-Never touch the metal parts or the hot surfaces of the appliance
when it is working.
-Do not leave the appliance on top of hot surfaces.
-Please let the appliance cool down completely before clearing and
storing.
-This appliance is exclusively designed for melting chocolate at a
maximum temperature of 70ºC. Do not use for cooking or for sterili-
sing.
-Only heat chocolate in the recipient provided for this the pot. Do not
heat directly on the chocolate maker base unit.
-Never add water to chocolate. If it is very thick, heat it up again in
the chocolate maker. If it is very liquid, add a little more crushed or
grated chocolate.
-Completely unroll the power cable to avoid overheating.
-This appliance will be completely switched off when it is unplugged
from the mains.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-Place the chocolate maker on a flat and dry surface and with the pot
in place.
-Break up the chocolate into small pieces and place them in the pot.
-Connect the appliance to the mains electricity supply and put the
temperature control in position

(melt the chocolate). The appliance
requires a certain amount of pre-heating time, and consequently you
will have to wait a little until such time as the chocolate begins to melt.
Stir the same from time to time while the chocolate begins to melt.
-Turn the temperature control to position

to keep the chocolate hot,
and to position
0
when you have finished using the chocolate maker.
-Please disconnect the appliance when you have finished using the
same.
USE OF THE MOULDS
PLEASE NOTE:
All the moulds are reusable, and can be washed in
hot water. THEY ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR WASHING IN DIS-
HWASHERS.
Shapes that include: large hearts, small hearts, stars, coffee grains,
pine trees, letters, numbers and symbols.
-The moulds must be dry and at room temperature before using the
same.
-Break up and melt the chocolate in the chocolate maker.
-Once the chocolate is completely melted, pour the same into the
moulds. Use the spatula to remove the excess chocolate.
-Let the chocolate cool down for a reasonable amount of time at
room temperature and then put it in the refrigerator for it to cool right
down and become completely hard.
