during each loop, this results in overshoot and

instability of the speed.
The closed loop sensitivity can be set from 0

to 99.9%.

Press the touch pad with the down arrow to

proceed to the next screen.

Screen 19 SENSING DELAY

This screen allows a delay to be set by turning

the adjust knob to increase or decrease the value.

During the delay time, the closed loop mode is

turned off, this avoids any instability during the

acceleration time of the motor.  It is recommend-

ed to always allow a short time for the system to

stabilize before closed loop is active.
Sensing delay can be set from 0 to 9.9 sec-

onds.

Press the touch pad with the down arrow to

proceed to the next screen.

Screen 20 DISPLAY

If a signal is being received from a tach-gen-

erator fitted on the wire feed drive motor, the

control can display the actual wire feed speed.

To do this, the adjust knob should be turned to

select

 Actual

.

If there is no tach-generator fitted and therefore

no tach-generator signal, the adjust knob should

be turned to select

  Preset

.  In this mode, the

display will provide a wire feed speed reading

which is based upon the wire feed speed which

has been programmed (Screen 2).

Press the touch pad with the down arrow to

proceed to the next screen.

Screen 21 HIGH LIMIT

This screen allows the maximum speed of the

wire feeder to be set by turning the adjust knob

to increase or decrease the value.
Following the pre-delivery calibration routine,

the high limit value will be preset at the factory

and should not be changed when the system is

received.
It will be necessary to change this value only if

a change is made in the drive mechanism, i.e.

the gear ratio is changed to provide a different

wire feed speed.  If this happens, contact Jetline

to verify the correct speed to be entered in this

screen.
Screen 30 allows the unit to be setup for inch or

metric readings.  If the unit is set for inches, the

maximum speed should be entered in inches per

minute.  If the unit is set for metric readings, the

equivalent maximum speed in centimeters per

minute should be entered.
The high limit can be set to a maximum number

of 9999.99 inches (or centimeters) per minute.

The minimum number which can be set is one

digit more than the number set for the low limit

(Screen 24).

Press the touch pad with the down arrow to

proceed to the next screen.

Screen 22 HIGH OUTPUT

This screen allows the high output of the control

to the wire drive motor to be set by turning the

adjust knob to increase or decrease the value.
The high output represents the maximum DC

output voltage which is transmitted to the motor

drive control.  The number has been predeter-
