Switch on the power supply to the Booth control panel. Turn on the main isolator at the rear of the Booth.
Prior to using the Personnel Cleaning Booth for removing dust from workers’ clothing, the user must make sure they are
wearing the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which normally includes:
•
Dust mask or respirator
•
Ear protection
•
Eye protection – preferably goggles
Step-By-Step Operation
•
Open the door, step into the Booth and close the door fully. The interior light and the extractor will turn on
automatically. The Cleaning Station can now be used.
•
Press the touch pad to operate the Cleaning Station. This is pre-set for a 30 second operation. If a longer
clean down time is required re-press the touch pad to re-start. If something should go wrong, during the
course of a cleaning cycle, or you simply want to stop the cleaning process, you have the option of stopping
the Cleaning Station by pressing the touch button at any time.
•
During the cleaning cycle, the user should ensure all of their body is exposed to the airflow from the Cleaning
Station. In most cases 20-30 seconds is a sufficient cleaning cycle.
•
Do not worry about getting too close to the airflow of the Cleaning Station – it is perfectly safe and will not
cause any harm. In fact, the closer the airflow, the better the cleaning process.
•
When you are sufficiently clean, turn off the Cleaning Station, if necessary, and exit the Booth. The extractor
will continue to run for a time, and a filter agitator process will begin. This is standard operation and it
ensures that any debris from the filter is removed.
Please Note
The Cleaning Station fitted has a thermal shut-off device for safety purposes. Prolonged use may cause the unit to shut off.
In this case, switch the unit off and wait for a few minutes before re-using.
