Lubrication of bed ways:

The bedways under the saddle are lubricated by
operating the apron central lubrication (operate the
lubrication knob several times a day, depending on the
use of the machine).

Lubrication of cross slide and top slide:

The guide ways of cross slide , cross lead screw, top
slide lead screw, tool rest, tailstock sleeve and lead crew
are all lubricated by an oil gun.

Lubrication of tool post and tailstock:

The 4-way tool post, tailstock-sleeve and -lead screw are
all lubricated by an oil gun.

Lubrication of change gears:

The change gear axle and its sleeve are lubricated with
grease pressed into the axle end plug.

Coat all gears with non slinging grease

Lubrication of rack:

Apply non slinging grease on entire length.

9.2 Annual Lubrication

- Headstock:

Change the hydraulic oil

Oil must be up to indicator mark in oil sight glass.

Fill oil by pulling plug located on top of the headstock

underneath the rubber mat.

Drain oil after first month of operation

by Removing

drain plug.

Clan out any metal shavings.

Refill with oil.

Then change the oil in the headstock annually

(respectively every 700 operating hours).

- Feed Gearbox:

Change the hydraulic oil (2 Litre)
