Making & Using the Adjustments
Knee Cups
How?
To raise or lower the knee cups, loosen the four yellow wing nuts (fig 13) and raise or lower the knee cup
carrier to the required height. The whole knee should be cradled within the cup. If the cup is too low, your
child will kneel on it and if it is too high, your child will not have any support to stop their knees from
bending. These same yellow wing nuts are used to alter the position of the knee cup carrier forwards or
backwards and to angle it. (fig 14-16)

Always secure the child by using all of the positioning straps and safety straps provided. Velcro
should overlap by at least 3 inches
(7.5 cm)
on all straps before you begin to make any other
adjustments. Ensure the safety strap and positioning strap are adjusted for each child and for
changes of clothing.
