When using the appliance in
a bathroom, unplug it after
use, because its proximity to
water can present a danger
even when the appliance is
switched off.
For additional protection, the
installation of a residual cur-
rent device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating cur-
rent not exceeding 30mA is
advisable in the electric circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask
your installer for advice.
If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the ma-
nufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
OPERATION
BEFORE USING
THE DEVICE
-Remove all packaging.
-Clean the device using a slightly damp cloth.
Dry the device.
-Fully uncoil the power cable.
1 - Plug the appliance in: the button turns
blue. Hold on the screen button button for 2
seconds to activate the appliance. Two beeps will
confirm that the appliance is activated.
2 - Upon activation, the default temperature
displayed will be 180°C, use the [+] and [-]
screen buttons to select the desired temperature.
3 - The Touch Styler reaches its maximum
temperature of 230°C in approximately 45
seconds.
4 - Each time the temperature is adjusted, the
heating temperature indicator is blinking. The
desired temperature has been reached when the
heating temperature indicator stops blinking.
5 - Once the desired temperature selected,
you can lock the touch screen by pressing the
«
lock
» button on the side of the appliance. This
function prevents you from involuntary changing
the temperature or turning the apppliance off by
accidentally pressing the buttons.
To unlock the temperature, switch the «
lock
»
button again.
6 - You can choose 11 temperature settings:
(MIN) 130°C, 140°C, 150°C, 160°C, 170°C,
180°C, 190°C, 200°C, 210°C, 220°C, (MAX)
230°C. Depending on the selected temperature,
you’ll see on the display : LOW (from 130°C to
150°C), MEDIUM (from 160°C to 200°C),
HIGH (from 210°C to 230°C).
7 - Recommended temperature settings for
each hair type : 130°C to 150°C: for fragile hair;
160°C to 200°C: for thin hair; 210°C to 230°C:
for thick/curly hair.
8 - If no button is pressed for 60 minutes, the
device will switch off automatically. Press the
button for 2 seconds to re-activate the device.
9 - To shut-off the appliance, press the button
for 2 seconds.
10 - After using the appliance, you can lock the
plates thanks to the button at the base handle
of the unit.
CLEANING
Switch off and unplug the device, then allow it
to cool.
Remove any hair that may have been left on the
device.
Clean the device using a slightly damp cloth and
then dry it.
