Navigating the user interface

The user interface of the SmartClass is designed to be intuitive and easy to
use. Using the LCD and keypad, you can view test results, set up the unit, and
configure test parameters. This section describes the user interface, and
explains how to navigate through the menus and screens.

When you power up the SmartClass ADSL/Copper Tester, the user interface
appears (see

There are 3 types of screens on the user interface:

– Menu screens
– Data entry screens
– Results screens

Menu screens

illustrates a typical Menu screen.

Menus screens provide a series of selections that take you to another menu
screen, a data entry screen, or a results screen.
