• Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children
less than 8 years old.
• VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the main body and/
or the cable cord of the appliance in water or any other
liquid.
• Always place on a heat resistance surface.
• Keep out of curtains or other flammable materials.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
• Always use with the connector provided. Do not use any other
type of connector.
• Only plug the connector in if it is connected to the grill.
• This appliance is not intended for using with an external timer or
a separate system of remote control.
• To unplug, pull from the plug, never from the cable.
• It must not be used outdoors.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done
by children without any supervision, unless they are over 8 years
and they are under supervision.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an
Authorised Service Centre.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Before using for the first time, clean the grill with a damp cloth. Next, dry carefully and spread a little oil with a
cloth or kitchen roll.
• Before each use pour some oil on the grill.
• Place the appliance on a flat and heat resistance surface.
• The tray (7) must be in place, otherwise, the juices and fat resulting from the cooking will spill onto the surface.
• If you want you can increase the surface of the plate by picking up by the handle (4) and folding down the grill
until it is in a 180 degrees position.
• Connect the device to the mains. The on indicator light (2) will light up.
• Turn the temperature selector (1) to the desired position, according to the type of food you are going to
prepare. Firstly it is advisable to put the selector to its highest position, to let the grill reach, as soon as possible,
a good temperature. After that you can, if you consider it convenient, change the selector position.
• When the ready pilot light (3) will light on grill will have reached the selected temperature.
• Place the food on the griddle (5) or grill (6).
• Always use wooden utensils to move or turn the food over. The use of forks or other metal utensils may scratch
the surface.
