Discharging
Water is discharged from the device through
the relief valve discharge pipe

Shut off power to the water heater by
pulling the plug out of the mains outlet
or turning the safety switch off.

Close the cold water inlet at the shut-
off valve

Set the mixing valve to its maximum
position

Open the relief valve by turning it
counterclockwise until the valve clicks
and stays open

Open the bleeder valve or nearest hot
water tap
Seasonal use
If the device supply voltage is shut off (e.g.
when using at a summer cottage), all water in
the pipes and tank must be discharged if there
is any risk of the water freezing.
The warranty does not cover damage to the
device caused by freezing.
