In order to remove the cutting tool, press the spindle locking button
(Fig. 2/
10) and turn
the cutting tool until the spindle lock is latched. Hold and press the spindle locking button
and loosen the locknut
(Fig. 4/
21) anti-clockwise using an allen key
(Fig. 4/
23).

Remove the used cutting tool.
o
Fit the cutting tool with the fixing holes onto the two guide pins
(Fig. 4/
20). Pay attention
to the running direction of the drive spindle
(Fig. 2/
11). The running direction of the
cutting tool and the drive spindle must be the same.
o
Make sure that there are no impurities between the clamping areas of the reception
flange, the cutting tool and the locknut. Clean the system, if necessary.
o
After fitting the cutting tool onto the guide pins, place the locknut
(Fig. 4/
21) onto it.
Relock the spindle
(Fig. 2/
10) and tighten it clockwise using an Allen key
(Fig. 5/
23).
o
After fixing the cutting tool, check if it is freely rotatable and properly tightened.
o
Insert the lower cutting tool cover/protective cover
(Fig. 4/
22) and place it on the grub
screw
(Fig. 2/
14).
o
Place the extractor
(Fig. 1/
7) onto the grub screw and into the extractor fit. Fix it with the
knurled nut
(Fig. 1/
8).
o
Before restarting the machine, make sure that the installation has been carried out
properly, that the guards have been replaced completely and are fully functional and that
the cutting tool is freely rotatable.
o
After having installed the new cutting tool, the machine should be operated for at least
30 seconds at full idle-running speed for test purposes. Do not use any vibrating, bent or
damaged cutting tools. Replace them immediately by undamaged cutting tools.
