•  Note that the hand wheel must always be turned in the direction of normal rotation unless otherwise 

instructed. This is especially true when making the loop-lift timing and needle-height adjustment 

(Exceptions are when removing thread locks or testing belt tension. The hand wheel may be rocked 

forward and reverse in these cases.)
