RS485

Bus structure

All devices are connected in a bus structure
(line). Up to 32 stations can be connected
together in a segment. The cable at the start
and end of a segment is terminated with
resistors.
If there are more than 32 stations, repeaters
must be used to connect the individual
segments.

The cable at the start and end of a segment is
terminated with resistors (120 ohm, 1/4 W).
