10. 1 Maintenance
· This device is to be installed, operated and
maintained exclusively by qualified personnel with
electrical training and experience.
· Regarding defective devices, please note section
„1. 5 Defective device/disposal“ on page 7.
· For a long service life, store the GridVis
®
Collector
in a dry environment at temperatures of 22 to 28 °C
(71-82 °F).
10. 2 Care
ATTENTION
Material damage due to incorrect maintenance of the
GridVis
®
Collector.
The use of water or other solvents, such as denatured
alcohol for the display, can damage or destroy the de-
vice, display and accessories during cleaning. Water can
penetrate into the device housing and destroy the device
(battery), for example.
· Clean the housing, the display and accessories,
especially the power supply unit, of the GridVis
®
Collector only with a dry microfibre cloth.
· If the housing or accessories are very dirty, use a
microfibre cloth moistened with clear water.
· Clean the display, e.g. of fingerprints, with a special
LCD cleaner and a lint-free microfibre cloth.
