Getting Started

Unpacking the Janam HT1 Rugged Enterprise Tablet

 

 

Make sure you have the following: 

 

— Janam HT1 Rugged Enterprise Tablet 
— Power Supply (includes US Type A, Europe CEE 7/7, UK BS89/13 adapters) 

 

Recommended Host Computer Requirements

 

 

— Microsoft Windows-compatible host computer with USB port,  

Microsoft Windows 7/8/10 (32-bit or 64-bit), or 

— Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or higher, or 
— Linux GNOME or KDE desktop or higher, or 
— Chrome OS 
— If installing Android™ Studio, 2 GB of available disk space minimum, 4 GB recommended 

(500 MB for IDE plus 1.5 GB for Android SDK and emulator system image). 

— 1280 x 800 minimum screen resolution. 

 
 

Janam HT1 SDK

 

 
The Janam HT1 Software Development Kit enables programmers to develop applications for Janam 
HT1 rugged tablets running the Android™ operating system. It contains details and instructions 
for developing applications that access the HT1 embedded scanner. 
 
The development kit, which can be downloaded from Janam’s Product Zone (login required), is 
designed for use with the publicly available Android SDK.
