6.4 Pulse Generator
The GO-5000-PGE has a frequency divider using the pixel clock as the basic clock and a pulse
generator. In the Pulse Generator, various Clear settings are connected to GPIO.
The following shows the Pulse Generator default settings.

6.4.1 Clock Pre-scaler
Clock pre-scaler (Divide Value) can set the dividing value of the frequency divider (12-bit
length) and the pixel clock is used for this. In the GO-5000-PGE, the pixel clock is set at 48
MHz.
6.4.2 Pulse Generator Selector
This is where you select a pulse generator. In the GO-5000-PGE, it is fixed to Pulse Generator
0.

When Pulse Generator Repeat Count is set to “0”, the camera is operating in free-running mode.
However, based on the above default setting, Length=1, Start Point=0 and End Point=1, Pulse Generator stops at
High output. Therefore, if Start Point=0 and End Point=1 are configured, Length should be
