9.3 Commissioning after storage
Ü
Do not put the HF spindle into operation until its temperature has adjusted
from the temperature of the storage location to the temperature of the us-
age location.
Ä
The temperature difference between the HF spindle and the usage lo-
cation should not exceed 10°C.

Carry out all steps in the "Maintenance [

28] " section.
Ü Operate the HF spindle at a maximum of 50 % of the max. permissible
speed for approx. 5 minutes.

Operate the HF spindle for approx. 2 more minutes at a maximum of 80 %
of the maximum permissible speed.
This preheats the grease lubrication of the bearing and protects it.
