8.6.2 Setting the sealing air

The adjustment value for the sealing air depends on the hose diameter and
length.

Ü The setting value can be found in the following diagram.
Ü To ensure effective control, turn on the sealing air and cooling when turn-
ing on the machine. This protects the HF spindle even when it is stationary.
Note: Ensure functionality.
The HF spindle is cooled by the sealing air flowing through.

Always switch on the sealing air as soon as the machine enters operation.

Sealing air temperature: max. 25°C.
If this is not observed, the HF spindle will be damaged or destroyed.
