16.1. Warranty period
01 (one) year, starting from the date the sprayer is purchased by the first owner.
16.2. Warranty is granted
Warranty is granted by JACTO, free of charge, provided the parts and components present defects in workmanship or assembly after
conclusive analysis at the factory.
16.3. Warranty is void when
•
Operating the sprayer in disagreement with the technical instructions supplied in the operator’s manual, with work overloads
or accidents;
•
Using the sprayer to apply products
THAT ARE NOT FOR PLANT PROTECTION
or that not approved by regulatory authorities
for knapsack sprayers;
•
Having preventive/corrective maintenance carried out by any non-authorized personnel;
•
Using parts and components that are not supplied by JACTO;
•
Altering the sprayer or any of its original design features.
16.4. Warranty does not cover
•
Parts presenting signs of wear or excessive use: nozzles, filters, seals, hydraulic pump, hose, spark plug, throttle cable, harness,
UNLESS IF THEY PRESENT DEFECTS IN WORKMANSHIP, ASSEMBLY OR MATERIAL;
•
Defects resulting from accidents;
•
Sprayer, parts and components transport and freight if such warranty is not granted;
•
Transport of people.
•
Damages or defects caused by the use of the sprayer in disagreement with the instructions supplied in this manual.
16.5. General terms
•
Parts, components and sprayers replaced under the warranty must be property of JACTO;
•
Warranty of spare parts, components and sprayers expires at the same time the sprayer warranty period expires;
•
Possible delays in services do not entitle the owner to indemnity nor to have the warranty period extended;
•
JACTO reserves the right to make changes or stop manufacturing the sprayer without prior notice;
•

MÁQUINAS AGRÍCOLAS JACTO S.A. warrants the sprayer identified in this manual, and undertakes to repair or replace parts and
components that, under normal operation and use, and used in accordance with the technical instructions, present DEFECTS IN
WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIAL, provided the following terms and conditions are complied with.
