Tablet Battery and Charging:
Your tablet will charge when connected to the Dock or charger if appropriate power is
applied. Letting the screen
‘sleep’ will enable the device to charge faster.
If the device is not going to be used for an extended period of time, it is suggested to
turn the tablet off. To turn the tablet off, hold the Power Button until you receive a pop
‐
up asking to
“
Power Off
” or “
Reboot
”. Tap “
Power Off
”, then tap the “
OK
” confirmation
to complete the device power off.
If you intend to keep the device off for an extended period of time , ensure the tablet is
charged at least 75% when you store the device. Keep the device in an area that will
not be exposed to excessive heat, as this can cause irreversible damage to the lifetime
of the battery. Tablet and accessories should be stored in a climate-controlled
environment between 1°C to 50°C.
If the device has not been powered on for longer than four months, it is recommended
to charge the device to at least 75%. If the battery is stored for an extended period of
time with 0% battery level, it will cause irreversible damage to the lifetime of the battery,
which is due to the working principle of the lithium-ion battery. This is a known limitation
of lithium
‐
ion batteries.
