What is Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)?
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) is a Bluetooth profile that enables multimedia
audio communication, such as music, between a Jabra headset and a supported Bluetooth device.
A2DP is used in selected Jabra headsets.
Note: A2DP is not supported by all Bluetooth devices. Check the user manual of your Bluetooth
device.

What is a PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile)?
A Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) enables a Jabra headset to access the phone book of a
paired mobile phone, and announce the name of an incoming caller. It is similar to caller ID,
which announces the number of an incoming caller.
To use the PBAP function, the following prerequisites must be met:
Your mobile phone must support PBAP.
When you pair your Jabra headset with your mobile phone, you must allow access to your
phone book.
The number of the incoming call must be associated with a contact that is stored in the phone
book.
The incoming call is not from an unknown, unlisted, or blocked caller.
Note: PBAP in Japanese only supports number read-out. PBAP in Chinese is supported only in
Chinese Simplified.
