Installation
<Thread connection>
• Use of a Teflon pipe or a Teflon-lined
pipe is recommended.
• Select a suitable pipe bore for secure
connection. See page 4 for applicable
connection size.
• Wrap a thread seal tape around the
exposed threads of pipes, a pump inlet
and outlet to create an air- and water-
tightness before connection.
CAUTION
Do not tighten a pipe too much, or a
plastic inlet or outlet may break.
CAUTION
Imperfect connection on a suction
line introduces air into the inside. Air
ingress may cause a poor flow, dry
running and consequently impeller
seizing.
Threads
• Be sure to remove a cushion from the
outlet before pipework. Be careful not
to damage the wet ends.
