Check if there is current in the socket
Check if the plug and the cable are
damaged

The vacuum cleaner speed increases
Clogged main filter
Shake the filter. Replace it if this is not
sufficient
Clogged vacuum hose
Check the vacuum hose and clean it
Dust leaks from the vacuum cleaner
Torn filter
Replace it with another of identical
category
Inadequate filter
Replace it with another of a suitable
category and check
The suction motor is noisy
Worn or broken motor carbon brushes
Remove and replace the motor carbon
brushes
Worn or failing motor bearings
Remove and replace the vacuum motor
