Cleaning or Replacing the Filter
If the air filter is blocked with dust, the airflow volume will be reduced. We recommend cleaning the filter once every
two weeks, or more frequently if you notice a reduction in air flow.
1. Remove the filter from the filter compartment (
5
) on the back of the unit.
2. Wash the air filter by immersing it gently in warm water with a neutral detergent. Rinse the filter and allow it to
dry thoroughly away from direct sunlight.
3. Slide the filter back into the filter compartment once it has dried completely.
WARNING: Do not attempt to return the filter to the filter compartment before it has completely dried, as this
may cause damage to the air conditioner or create the risk of electrical shock or fire.
4. If the filter is torn or unusable, order a new filter. Filters can be purchased on Amazon or by calling or emailing
Ivation® Customer Care (1-866-849-3049 or [email protected]).
Cleaning the Unit Housing

Preparing for Long-Term Storage or Transport
1. Empty any excess water by unplugging the drain plug in the back of the unit as described on page 11.
2. Unplug the unit.
3. Store or transport the unit in a cool, dry place.
