Problem
Solution
The unit does not turn on.
Make sure the battery is fully charged or plug the unit into the AC
adapter and an outlet.
Press the power button
Time-lapse capturing
terminated.
Auto Power-Off time setting may be shorter than time lapse setting.
Refer to section on Time-lapse.
The screen is blank.
Ensure that the power is on and the battery is fully charged.
Check that the item you want to magnify is positioned correctly
under the lens.
Use the magnification zoom control, focus control, and stage height
adjustment knob to bring your object into view.
There are smudges or
blemishes on the screen.
Clean the screen and lens carefully with a soft fabric.
Microscope is connected to a
television, but no image
appears on the television
screen.
Ensure that the television is on.
Switch to the appropriate video input channel on your television.
Ensure that the HDMI / video cable is securely connected to the
microscope port and plugged into the correct input port on your
television.
Cannot preview image from
USB link to HDTV.
HDTV with USB link only supports image review, acting like a Pen
Drive device connection.
Not able to take video when
connected to TV via HDMI
cable.
The system does not support video capture with HDMI connection to
TV. It only supports still image capture via HDMI.
The battery indicator LED is
not red, even though the
power adaptor is connected
and plugged into a wall
socket.

The battery is not charging.
Make sure the power cord in plugged into the microscope’s DC-in
port.
Ensure that the outlet has power and is not malfunctioning. If the
outlet is connected to a wall switch, make sure that the switch is on.
