Lapse Num:
Select the number of still images want your device to take.
1. Use the Down button to scroll through the numbers from
2. 0 to 9. When satisfied with the first digit, press the Back
3. button to advance to the next digit. Repeat.
4. Once the number of still images has been chosen, press the
5. Back button to move to the Lapse Time options.
Lapse Time:
1. Follow same procedure as above. Use the Down and Back buttons to set the
time between 1 second and 999 seconds. This, along with the number of images
chosen, will determine the overall length of time for your time lapse. (For example:
If you choose to take 999 total images and the interval between each is 999
seconds you will have 277 hours

or 11.55 days
‒
total documentation time.)
2. Once you have set your number of images and interval, press the OK button
to
confirm.
3. Press the Back button to return to the streaming image.
4. Press the Capture button to start the time lapse.
5. Once all frames have been taken in the Time Lapse mode, the microscope will
revert back to the normal preview mode.
Note: The Auto Power-Off time needs to be set to a number higher than the set time-
lapse time. Please see the section on the Auto Power-Off feature and make sure to
calculate correctly.
Time-lapse Video Capture:
For video time-lapse recording, select the video recording mode and follow the
same procedure as above. Recording time is fixed at 90 seconds per frame.
Image Quality:
1. From menu 1, use the Down button to
choose Quality and then press OK.
2. Use the Down button to choose Fine,
Normal or Economy. (The quality
setting will determine the compression
ratio of the image.)
3. Press
OK.
