Chapter 5 REGISTRATION MODE

5.20 DEPARTMENT CODE/NAME (P27)

Departments are used to link similar products together into a category for reporting purpose.
The following steps are used to program a name for the reference code entered when PLUs are
programmed.

[P27 Screen]

Make sure that “Department Code/Name”
screen (P27) appears on the display.

Otherwise, enter this screen by referring to
Section 5.1: Registration Mode Entry/Exit.

[Key In Department Code]

Press the [ENTER] key to enter “Key In
Department Code” screen (P27-00).

Key in a department code and press the
[PLU] key.

Note: 1 to 9 can be programmed.
