13. ADJUSTMENT OF HST STOPPER BOLT
a. Loosen the lock nut,2, of the HST pedal stopper
bolt,1, and screw in the bolt slightly to shorten the
effective length.
b. Push the forward pedal until it stops.
c. Then adjust the effective length of the stopper bolt
until the head comes into contact with the pedal.
d. Then tighten the lock nut.
14. HST NEUTRAL SPRING ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: After use of long period, following
malfunction sometimes happen because the
resistance of HST unit increases.
・
It becomes late for HST pedal to return
when releasing it.
・
HST pedal does not return to neutral
position completely, and lawn mower
keeps moving slowly.
IMPORTANT :
・
When the HST unit is out of order, ask your dealers to
repair it. But when is no alternative but for the user to
adjust it, follow the next instructions.
Loosen the lock nut, tighten up the nut, adjust the
tension of neutral spring.
Neutral spring adjustment length:
spring clearance 0.5~1.0 mm (center of spring)
If the spring clearance becomes larger, returning of HST
pedal becomes fast and stopping performance becomes
better.
If the spring clearance becomes too much larger, the
shock when stopping becomes big, so adjust little by
little.
