6.3. Interface Test
6.3.1 Under Windows
Determine the serial USB interface with Device Manager under Windows. The devices with USB interface get an USB Serial port
assigned in section Ports (COM & LPT), in this case COM3.

HyperTerminal is included in Windows 2000 and XP. Create a new connection with menu „File
➜
New Connection“, name it e. g.
“EHQ” and click OK.
The following dialog appears. Choose your serial port and click OK:
