4.12. Connecting to the Server via SMS Commands
The modem provides the option of a single connection to the server by an SMS command. When receiving
such command, the modem is connected to the server with the address specified in the SMS message. In this
case the server switch is not allowed. The sample of SMS command to connect to the server:

You can include command for changing network parameters of one or both SIM cards into SMS (APN, login,
password). Additional commands must be separated with comma with no spaces. Message, containing addi-
tional commands must end with a comma.

changed in the service mode).

– time in minutes within which the modem is to be connected to the server (10 – 36 minutes) Pa-
rameter is optional: if it is not specified in the SMS message, the connection is established for 10 minutes.

take place: power reset, entering service mode or receiving another SMS command.IRZ

specified if the iRZ Collector server is used. If the system uses an ordinary server, the iRZ parameter is
not required.
ENC
– command for switching to Encapsulation mode If ENC command will not be present in the following
message, the Encapsulation mode will be disabled In other words, if the modem receives several SMS
commands for connection to the server and it needs to stay in Encapsulation mode, then all of the SMS
commands must contain ENC command.
APN1=internet
— access point to the APN network for SIM 1.
PASS1=gdata
— APN network password for SIM 1.
LOG1=gdata
— APN login for SIM 1.
