To IRIDEX lasers
Remove the protective caps from the console fiber-optic port.
Carefully insert and finger-tighten the connector into the console fiber-
optic port until secure.
If the probe is properly connected, when you turn on the console,
EndoProbe displays on the console status panel.
To non-IRIDEX lasers
Remove the protective cap from the console fiber-optic port and connect
the fiber optic connector to your laser, as described in your laser operator
manual.
CAUTION
Gently finger-tighten the
fiber-optic connector and
do not overtighten to
avoid undue damage to
the connector port.
