3.2.4.4 Bubble Detect Verification:
With no IV Test Set installed verify Bubble detect indicated by
Upper case “B” in the lower center of the display
3.2.4.5 Verify No Bubble Detect:
Load a IVP1056 set filled with fluid and verify no Bubble
detect s indicated by Lower case “b” in the lower center of the
display with the IV Test Set installed.
Power Off (O) key approximately 2 +/- 0.75 second and
Power Off the pump.
3.2.4.6 Real Tim Clock Set & Verification
Set Time & Date; Press the (F3) soft key then the (F1) soft
key to select the SET CLOCK Menu with Hour highlighted. Use
the Up and Down arrows to adjust and ENTER key to set. Set
the Clock to the current Date & Time. Navigate directly
through the Time Menu with the (F2) soft key and directly
through the Date Menu with the (F3) soft key. Press Menu key
to enter Time and Date. Press Menu Key to enter Time and
Date changes or Cancel key to exit without changing settings.
Press Power Off (0) Key
NOTE: To save the new time or date, the “MENU” key must
be pressed prior to the “CANCEL” key when exiting this
screen.
3.2.4.7 Flow preventer Switch Verification
For 3860 and 3860+ pumps, open Channel A door, press black
pinch clamp in on IV Set Flow preventer assembly, verify Check
Door A flashes at top of screen and pulsing alarm sounds within 2
seconds. Note: Flow switch must be On in service menu.
3.2.4.8 Flow Stop Pull Test
Load IVP1056 IV Set and Close Door. Open door verify black pinch
clamp has been fully retracted (Flow stop is closed) and Flow
preventer housing is retained in the gray/violet flow stop carrier
(IVP1047/AS120).
NOTE: If pull test fails (black flow preventer not fully retracted) on a
new Load IVP1056 IV set, the IVP1068 Door Clamp Clip is worn and
should be replaced. Ref: AS112A drawing in Section 5, Assemblies and
Drawings.
Power Pump Off.
