6.5.2 Configure Access Control
1.
Choose Wireless Setting > Access Control .
2.
Select a wireless network radio band on which access control must be implemented.
3.
From the SSID drop-down list box, select an SSID of the wireless network to which the
rule applies.
4.
Select a filter mode from the MAC Address Filter Mode drop-down list.
5.
Enter the MAC addresses of the wireless devices to which the rule applies.
6.
Click Add .
If you want to control the devices in the wireless client list, directly click the Add button corresponding to
the device.
7.
Click Save .

6.5.3 Example of Configuring Access Control
Networking requirement
A wireless network whose SSID is VIP under the 5 GHz radio band has been set up in a
company. Only a few members are allowed to connect to the wireless network.
The Access Control function of the AP is recommended. The members have three wireless
devices whose MAC addresses are
C8:3A:35:00:00:01 , C8:3A:35:00:00:02 , and
C8:3A:35:00:00:03 .
Configuration procedure
1.
Choose Wireless Setting > Access Control > 5 GHz Access Control .
2.
Select VIP from the SSID drop-down list.
3.
Select Allow from the MAC Filter Mode drop-down list.
4.
Enter C8:3A:35:00:00:01 in the
MAC Addres
s text box and click Add .
5.
Repeat step 4 to add C8:3A:35:00:00:02 and C8:3A:35:00:00:03 as well.
6.
Click Save .
