Hand wheel
Lower traction rail / raise extension
Pull on the latch (1) and turn the hand wheel (2) to lower the
traction rail / raise the extension.
Raise traction rail / reduce extension
The latch (1) must not be pulled to raise the traction rail/reduce
the extension.
The traction rail moves by 75 mm for each revolution of the hand
wheel.

Gas strut
If the traction rail (3) is lowered, the pendulum (1) makes
a compensating movement. The gas strut (4) supports this
compensating movement.
