This product corresponds to the protection class I in its design and may only be operated at a socket with
protective contact. Use only the supplied power cord to connect. Do not modify the power cord or plug and
check the insulation of the cable regularly for damage. Failure to do so may result in electric shock, fire or life.

The device contains components that are subject to a high electrical voltage. Do not modify or disassemble the
unit. There are no user-serviceable components inside the device. Failure to do so may result in electric shock,
fire or life.
NOTE!
Disconnection from the mains.
The mains plug is the main disconnect element. Unplug the power cord from the power source. Make sure that
the outlet is near the unit and is easily accessible.

Operating conditions.
This product is designed for indoor use only.
To prevent damage, do not expose the unit to liquid or moisture. If there is a suspicion that liquid may have
penetrated into the device, the device must be immediately disconnected from the mains. This also applies if
the unit is exposed to high humidity. Even if the device still seems to work, it must be checked by an expert
whether the liquid penetration could possibly impair the insulation. Reduced insulation can cause fatal electric
shocks. Avoid direct sunlight, strong dirt and strong vibrations.

Never cover the unit or the ventilation slots. Do not mount the appliance directly next to a heat source. Keep the
appliance away from the fire.
1.3 Intended Use:
This device is designed for use as a DMX signal splitter within the scope of the operation described here. In case
of non-intended use, there is a risk of life by electric shock. The warranty also expires. It has been developed and
designed for professional use in the field of event engineering - exclusively in interior spaces. Do not use the
"DMXS4" in professional applications unless you are familiar with the functions and are familiar with the operation.
Only allow other people to work with the device if you are sure that they are familiar with the functions as well. In
most cases, malfunctions are a result of a previous faulty operation. The device is only approved for a current
connection with alternating voltage, AC100-240V, 50 / 60Hz. Only install the "DMXS4" in places that are protected
from dust, moisture and excessive heat. The permissible operating temperature must be in the range -5 ° to + 45 °
Celsius and the relative humidity must not exceed 50% (at + 45 °)! Direct sunlight must be avoided during use and
during transport. For the sake of your own safety and those of other persons, make sure that no cables are around
freely. In the event of a thunderstorm, the device must be disconnected from the mains!
If damage results from non-observance of the intended use and the instructions outlined in this manual, the
warranty will be void and the consequences may be short-circuit, fire or electric shock or fall-down of the device
(s). Unauthorized modifications to the device are prohibited for safety reasons.
The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by improper installation and
inadequate securing!
