SECTION 4—FRONT RIGGINGS

WARNING

After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching hardware is

tightened securely. Otherwise injury or damage may occur.

Installing/Removing Front Riggings

NOTE:

For

this

procedure,

refer

FIGURE 4.1.

Installing

Turn

the

front

rigging

assembly

the

side

(open

front

rigging

perpendicular

wheelchair).

Install

the

hinge

plates

the

front

rigging

assembly

onto

the

hinge

pins

the

wheelchair

frame.

Push

the

front

rigging

assembly

towards

the

inside

the

wheelchair

until

locks

into

place.

NOTE:

The

footplate

will

the

inside

the

wheelchair

when

locked

place.

Repeat

this

procedure

for

the

other

front

rigging

assembly.

the

front

rigging,

push

the

front

rigging

release

lever

inward,

rotate

front

rigging

outward.

Removing

Push

the

front

rigging

release

lever

inward

Rotate

swingaway

front

rigging

assembly

outward.

Lift

the

swingaway

front

rigging

assembly

off

the

hinge

pins.

procedure

applies

the

swingaway

front

riggings

and

swingaway

elevating

legrest.

Remove

the

front

rigging

assembly.

NOTE:

Lay

the

front

rigging

assembly

flat

surface

simplify

this

procedure.

Pull

the

cam

lock

lever

unlocked

position.

NOTE:

The

elevating

legrest

has

two

sets

release

buttons,

one

set

above

the

other.

Each

set

will

visible

one

time

allowing

finer

footplate

height

adjustment.

Push

the

release

buttons

and

reposition

the

footplate

assembly

the

desired

height.

Ensure

that

the

release

buttons

fully

protrude

from

holes

both

sides

the

front

rigging

support.

Rotate

cam

lock

lever

down

locked

position.

Repeat

this

procedure

for

the

other

footplate,

necessary.

Reinstall

the

swingaway

front

rigging

assembly.
