2.15 Mounting the chassis extender

The wheelchair frame can be lengthened by 5 cm to improve
stability and propelling characteristics when there is a lot of
weight on the castors.
1. Loosen the screw

and the nut

2. Remove the castor housing

Tools: 5 mm Allen key
3. Push the chassis extension E into the frame tubing D .
4. Tighten the screws

inside the chassis extension tubes (18 Nm).

5. Remount the castor housing, now onto the frame extension.
