Disassembling the pool for long-term storage
After use, you can empty the pool and store it in a safe place.
If the temperatures in winter fall below 5 °C, you must drain the pool, disassemble it
and store it properly to prevent ice damage to the pool and its components. Ice dam-
age can make the pool liner
1
unusable and, in the worst case, cause it to tear. Ob-
serve the instructions in the section “Emptying the pool”.
To disassemble the pool, follow the assembly instructions in reverse order.
1. Drain the water (see the section “Emptying the pool”).
2. Remove all of the parts belonging to the pump and the skimmer
35
from the
pool.
3. Ensure that the pool and all of the parts are completely dry before you store them.
Dry the pool liner in the air and sun until it is completely dry before folding the
pool liner up.
4. Sprinkle some talcum powder over the pool lining so that the material does not
stick together and any excess water is absorbed.
5. Fold into a square: Start at one side and fold a sixth of the pool liner in on itself
twice. Proceed in exactly the same way on the opposite side.
6. When you have folded two opposite sides inwards, fold one side over the other as
if you were closing a book.
7. Fold the long end into the centre.
8. Fold one end over the other (as if closing a book) and press the liner together.
Disassembling the pump and skimmer
To disassemble the pump and skimmer, follow the assembly instructions in reverse
order.
1. To disassemble the pump, release the inlet connection
26
and the filter connec-
tion
29
from the hose connections
15
/
16
and insert one sealing plug
13
from inside into each of the hose connections.
You may have to release the hose clips
22
slightly to do so.
2. Release the hose clips and take the pump hoses
23
off.
