MicroVista_SDK

The SDK is a software development kit to allow a third-party developer to create 

applications to control the MicroVista

®

 family of Intevac cameras. It includes the 

uIVAPI, documentation, and example programs.

Installing the SDK will copy folders and files to the hard drive.

The E2xxxE3xxx_tk folder is the API toolkit. The include folder contains the 

header files that need to be included in a third-party app, and the debug and 

release folders contain the libraries with which the app needs to link.

The Apps folder contains a utility command-line app, ECameraVersionQuery, that 

queries a camera for its version. The Apps folder also contains the 

IVeCamExample which is a simple command-line example app that connects to a 

camera and sends and receives several commands. The source code for the 

example app is included.

The Doc folder contains the dynamic html help file for the API.

The Config folder contains Intevac camera config files for a National 

Instruments

TM

 frame grabber and for an Imperx

TM

 frame grabber.
