Connecting Power and Displays
The sketch at left shows the various connectors located
on the right end panel. The functions are listed below.

Led Power Light—green when unit is “ON”

DISP (Male) Connector for Interphase display.

POWER I/O CABLE—Connect to 12 VDC power,
NMEA input/output ports and external alarm. (See
Power I/O cable table below)
When connecting to the v12 VDC power, it’s
recommended to run the wire directly as possible to the
ships battery to minimize interference possibilities. In
addition, it highly recommended to install a 2 Amp fuse
in the positive (red) wire of the power line.
Keypad
The SE-200 Sonar Engine Box is designed to work with
remote keypads which control the functions of the
box—including turning power ON/OFF.
The keypad should be mounted conveniently close to
the display—preferable directly beneath so the keypads
softkeys are easy to relate to the displays softkey menu.
The keypad includes hardware to enable mounting so
the cable is hidden (requires drilling a hole for the cable
and retaining screws), or directly to a panel with the
cable exiting to the side of the keypad. These two tech-
niques are shown in the diagram at lower right.
